Several students got injured in an attack at a school in Wuppertal in western Germany on Thursday morning, according to the police, a suspect was detained.
The authorities have not yet released more details. Based on information from Bild, MTI writes that the attacker used a knife.
Elite police units and ambulances marched to the high school in the Elberfeld district, a police helicopter also circled in the air. The area was cordoned off and authorities set up an information point for parents near the school building.
