A 37-year-old woman was hit and killed by a car in Újpetre, Baranya.
Her 12-year-old child, who was cycling with her, was also seriously injured in the accident, the Baranya County Police Headquarters told police.hu.
It was written that the woman had already died on the scene, her child was taken to hospital by ambulances with life-threatening injuries.
For the duration of the scene investigation, a complete roadblock was in force on the road section affected by the accident, police reported.
