No Poisoning Caused the Death of the Police Dogs

According to the seconded forensic veterinary expert, the animals died of suffocation due to heat stroke.

Previously, we have also reported about the death of three police dogs in Baranya county. Now, the Pécs Police Headquarters launched an investigation in connection with the death of the police dogs at the Udvar Road Border Crossing, and then information appeared on several news portals that the dogs had died as a result of poisoning.

According to two different toxicological experts’ opinions obtained during the investigation, the deaths of the animals were not caused by poisoning, but the dogs died of suffocation due to heat stroke. The police sent the case file to the Kaposvár Regional Investigation Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings.
