According to the latest decision of the General Assembly of Pécs, the price of a bus ticket bought from drivers on the bus is raised to 500 HuF, which will also be the highest bus fare in the country – reported Hír TV channel.Pre-purchased tickets will also become more expensive, instead of 300 HuF, they will cost 350 HuF, while the price of regular bus passes for a month will rise from 7055 HuF to 7,300 forints.
Parking will also be more expensive in Pécs: in the most expensive zone, the fee rises from 300 HuF to 400 forints. City representatives say that the currently used parking machines are outdated and they need to be replaced. The new machines will work with solar power.
Recently, the city administration has almost doubled the prices in nurseries. Parents have to pay 480 HuF instead of 250 forints per day.
